I received this on Jan 6th and began using it right away on both my underarms and bikini line. A little over 2 months later and I have very little hair growing in. I definitely still have some as you can see in the picture of my underarm, but it’s not a whole lot at all compared to what I started with. I will say, I am very fair skinned and my hair is very dark so that could be a reason that it has worked well? I’m not sure, but based on my experience with this machine I would definitely recommend it. It get hot fairly quickly though. That’s the only thing. I have started doing my legs and I usually have to take breaks, unplug it so it cools down and then start again. Aside from that, super easy to use and for sure works.

I only write reviews when I am blown away by a product. HOLY MOLY this thing works!! I have only used it 3 times and I already have permanent hair removal on certain areas of my legs. I am Italian with very dark, very thick leg and underarm hair. Body hair has been an uphill battle for me since my pre-teen years. Shaving is so painful due to the thickness of my hair, it's like needles growing back in, and I could only shave once per week (despite a 5 o'clock shadow) otherwise my legs were a cut up mess, even using the highest quality razors. I waxed for years but it got so expensive to keep up with and wasn't ideal for summers when I had to wait for black hair to grow back in. I had a mental breakdown last summer after leaving an activity with my kids on a really hot day, drenched in sweat because I was forced to wear jeans due to it only being Day 3 after my last shave.
I had heard about IPL before and I decided to try this device since it was budget friendly and it got great reviews. I know you aren't supposed to use it with a tan but I tried it anyway after desperation. The first time I used it on level 4, the second two times I used it on level 5. Level 5 hurts more for sure, but I've never had a burn or reaction so I just deal with the zaps for the results. I have used it 3 times in the past month. I have some complete hair-free patches on my legs now. In other areas, the hair is thinner than it was making it so much easier and less painful to shave, and it grows in much slower than it used to. I think with regular use over the next 5-6 months I am going to have very good results. I have also used it on my underarms which is responding slower but definitely reducing growth.
I am in complete shock and wish I had tried this sooner. Attached photo is an area of my inner thigh where the hair no longer grows in. For me, my goal was just hair reduction or less painful shaving. I wasn't even expecting to achieve permanently hair-free legs, but this device has exceeded my expectations.

I admit I was very skeptical when buying it but thought for that price it was worth the try, and was ready to return it if on the end of one month I see no results. But I was very pleasantly surprised to find out it actually really works! First off I have light brown hair and fair skin, and after initial test with the lower settings I ended up using it at the highest settings. I made sure to use it correctly, on shaved, clean, free of any skin-products, holding it gently pressed against the skin, straight down at the right angle, waiting for it to charge and light go on between each zap. I used it twice a week, and zapped the same area multiple times per session. I ended up not using the automated mode as the charging time between those seems shorter than in manual mode and I was worried I wasn't getting the full charge. Also I ended up preferring to do it 1 day after shaving, when the hair is starting to grow out a bit. As a test I started with a lower half of my right leg and my right armpit, while shaving the left ones at the same times to be able to compare them. Attached image is my legs after 1 month. The armpit took longer and more zaps, I figured it's probably because the hair there is thicker. So if you have a thick hair be ready to do many sessions and repeats before you see the results. You should feel sort of sting when zapped, which is the same how it felt when I had some hair removal done professionally in the past. Just disregard the time chart where it says approximately how long each area takes. It says 9 min for a calf but in reality it would take me 1h per session to do the lower half of my leg as the zap area is pretty small and I was moving methodically little by little and repeated at least 2x per session. You will have to put in the time, but it's still so worth it! Haven't shaved my leg in more than a months now and it remains smooth! I continue making progress on the rest.

Honest, non-biased review. First, let me say I gave 4 stars because the cord could be longer to allow for easier use while sitting in a bed or chair that isn’t very close to a plug. Also for the reasons below.
6 weeks in and I have noticed a big difference in the growth of hair on my legs, bikini line and stomach. I shave once a week and not because I need to, but because you have to be clean shaven to use this product. After a week, my legs have a little hair like they normally would after a couple days, not even enough to see when I wear shorts! I used it twice a week for 4 weeks and now once a week and followed the directions in the package before and after use.
Now, let’s talk about armpits. I haven’t noticed a difference at all in my armpit hair. At all. But I’m okay with that because I mostly got this for my legs and bikini line anyway. Legs take longer to shave and I absolutely hate razor burn in my bikini area and I don’t have to deal with that anymore so I’m a happy camper. I can deal with shaving my armpits.
I like this product and will recommend it if you are using it for the same reasons as I did.
Again, I am only 6 weeks in so I may notice a difference in my armpits after the recommended 8 weeks. If so, I will update my review.

Have been using the laser hair removal for about 2 months now. I have seen a big difference in the hair growth on my face and under arm. The hair on my face is almost non existent. I used it 2 times a week and now I just use it once a week just to keep up the routine but i think I can now use it once a month if even at all. I’m using it at level 5 now and I think I saw better results by using it over the same area 2-3 times for every session. I must say have patience because you won’t see results until after the first 2 weeks but it was worth it, rather than having to pay thousands at the salons you can do it in the comfort and privacy of your own home. A must buy.

I have been getting laser hair removal for years. I have very thick dark hair and it's the only way. Areas include legs, underarm, upper lip, belly, bikini and Brazilian. When the pandemic hit, I was not able to make my appointments. I saw on TikTok someone that was using an at-home IPL removal from another brand and checked it out. I didn't even know you could do this yourself. That brand was 3x more expensive than this and I just simply did not have the $ to spend. So, I found this one at Amazon and after reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try. I waited a while to leave my review because I wanted to make sure it worked and that what I was saying was truthful. So here goes... BUY IT! Buy it now! My only regret is that I did not find this sooner. It has been a couple of months and I barely have to do the belly (which was an area that I've never done laser before). Underarms are 95% permanently gone. The bikini is 85% permanently gone. The Brazilian is taking longer just because, being such a sensitive area, I started later and using lower settings. But OH MY GOD what a difference. If you're reading this it's because you're considering it, so I'm telling you, get it now. IT WORKS!

The instructions were easy to follow and it was easy to use. I have had a hair on my upper lip for YEARS. Like since I was 8. I’ve always been self conscious about it and would try anything to remove it such as nair, waxing, and yes... even shaving at timessmh. The waxing was working but it started becoming painful and would leave marks on my skin that would take weeks to heal. I had enough and came on Google in search of something better, and I FOUND IT! This device goes up to level 5 and after I tested it on my arm I said 5 it is bc I want this poop stach out of my life ASAP. Within three weeks I started noticing results and have been spreading the word ever since. I am MORE than impressed with this product and and very happy with my purchase.

I just started using this so I can't comment on results yet, but I have had professional laser hair removal before and I can say this is the same except not as intense. This device doesn't hurt nearly as much as the professional one, and I'm assuming results for at home will take longer, but I can tell it's the same mechanism at play. Most areas don't really hurt at all - feels like a snap. Some areas were a bit more sensitive, but not painful. The burnt hair smell definitely tells me that it's working - it's the same thing that happened when I got it done professionally. I'm excited to see the end results! I'm a lighter-skinned African American and didn't have any issues.

I was not sure what to expect but with all the excellent reviews, I was excited. I don’t have the time or want to spend the crazy amount on f money to go to spa or plastic surgery office. I was using an Epilator it was better than shaving or waxing but the ingrown hairs were annoying.
I have only used it 3x so far and have no growth on my legs and a little growth on my armpits and bikini area.
I’m excited to see how long it’s takes for the growth to stop!
So far I say this is well worth it. Honestly, it’s already paid for itself after only 3 uses.

I had laser hair removal years ago... and it always grows back... during the pandemic I decided to give this product a try. IT IS GREAT. I have used it for one month and my facial hair is 90% less. It does not work on white hairs. As an added bonus.. I had some dark spots and raised spots on my face.. this product also took care of them... although it did not advertise as such... I would buy the laser hair remover again... much less expensive than a salon, easy to use, I did not think it was painful even on the highest setting.

used all over my body, adjust setting to accommodate for more sensitive bits. My underarms no longer grow hair i used it every other day for 2 weeks.... its been 3 months since i felt anything sprouting. same with legs... I do have fair skin and dark hair, i suggest for those with more melanin, just lower the setting and use more often. I noticed the more applications the better it worked unlike traditional laser hair removal where you cannot go more often.

I’ve been wanted to try one of these for a while now. And since the stay-at-home orders are in effect, I figured now is a good time as any to try it since I have some spare time. First of all, let me say that I’m a prime candidate as I have very pale skin and very dark hair. The package comes with everything you need to start and comes with easy to follow instructions. Remember that seeing results requires patience. I started noticing slower growth rates in just a few weeks. I have currently finished six weeks of treatment and have noticed quite a substantial difference in not only hair growth, but skin smoothness as well. I am no longer embarrassed to go outside in shorts anymore. Anyone with super dark hair and pail skin knows that even when you shave, you can still see that dark hair roots. I’ve added a picture (sorry about the quality) so you can see how smooth the skin is and how you can’t see the roots. I use the settings on setting five without any pain or discomfort. However, the higher the setting, the longer time between flashes. Therefore, it takes me a really really long time to do my legs. As I have such fair skin, I have to zap well above the knees. So prepare to set aside some time when you choose which days to use this system. Do not, I repeat, do NOT do it over a tattoo. It’s very painful. I meant to skip over my one tattoo and just absent mindedly went over it. I can’t be good for the tattoo. The instructions do not mention that. I also use it on other areas other than my legs, like underarms. So far, I’m extremely happy with this product and very happy with the results.

This is by far the best product I have used other than going to ideal image which is extremely expensive. I’m currently using this machine on my chin for approximately 2wks and using as directed. I noticed an immediate slow in growth of my hair. As a woman having hair on my chin is horrible and very hard to maintain. I did not have the regular whiskers, I had the thick dark hair that has gotten worst since my second child. I’m so happy to have found this product and feel a whole lot more confident about myself. I strongly recommend

I got this on Mar 7, and for a little case study, only zapped my left side. I have probably used it around 6 times over 3 weeks and then shaved both legs 10 days ago and let it grow to compare, you can see my results so far!!! So far I have about 1/3 the amount of hair. I’ve always used level 5. I don’t find it painful, kind of a warm flick, it does get a little sensitive on my armpits and the back of my knee- so I might turn it down to level 4. It probably takes 5-7 minutes for my one leg, and I use about 200-300 zaps. Totally doable, I think I’ll start doing my right leg. Not ready to stop shaving but I can get away with it less often.
